This is all so typical of football success. New reports say Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has become a target up north.
Mamelodi Sundowns lifted an eighth consecutive Premier Soccer League title, this time under the tutelage of the Portuguese Miguel Cardoso.
ATTENTION FROM AFRICAN CLUBS
According to local reports, Cardoso, who could win the double after the CAF Champions League final, has attracted interest from an unnamed club in Algeria.
“There is real interest in Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso from clubs in Algeria,” a source told Soccer Laduma.
“More than one club has been assessing him. They’re impressed with the work he’s done in such a short time. But it’s going to be tough – Cardoso is committed to the Sundowns project.
“He’s happy, motivated, and aiming for more success. The club also has no intention of losing him now, especially with the Club World Cup around the corner,” the source added.
