Dillan Solomons is determined to turn the page on a difficult chapter at Kaizer Chiefs and play a pivotal role as the club aims to close out the season on a high.
Since arriving at Naturena, the versatile right-back has struggled with injuries and limited game time, making only a handful of appearances in a campaign marked by inconsistency for the Soweto giants. Yet, as the season enters its final stretch, Solomons insists he’s mentally and physically ready to contribute.
“It’s been a frustrating period, but I’ve used the time to grow stronger, both physically and mentally,” Solomons said. “Now, I’m focused on giving everything to help the team finish the season in the best possible way.”
Kaizer Chiefs, battling to secure a top-four finish and a potential spot in CAF competitions, will need depth and determination in the coming weeks. Solomons, known for his work rate and attacking runs down the flank, could be a valuable asset during the club’s final push.
Coach Cavin Johnson has hinted at rotating his squad to maintain energy levels, and Solomons is expected to feature more prominently as Chiefs face a demanding fixture schedule.
“Every player wants to be on the field, and I’m no different. I’ve stayed ready for my chance. Now it’s about showing why I belong here,” Solomons added.
